Welcome to my optimized Laravel development setup featuring Nvim with LazyVim integration. This configuration is tailored to enhance productivity and streamline the development workflow for Laravel projects.

Features:

Setup

  • Make a backup of your current Neovim files:

mv ~/.config/nvim{,.bak}

# optional but recommended
mv ~/.local/share/nvim{,.bak}
mv ~/.local/state/nvim{,.bak}
mv ~/.cache/nvim{,.bak}
# required
mv ~/.config/nvim{,.bak}

# optional but recommended
mv ~/.local/share/nvim{,.bak}
mv ~/.local/state/nvim{,.bak}
mv ~/.cache/nvim{,.bak}
  • Clone the repo
bash
git clone https://github.com/ilosrim/dotfiles.git ~/.config/nvim
git clone https://github.com/ilosrim/dotfiles.git ~/.config/nvim
  • Remove the .git folder, so you can add it to your own repo later
bash
rm -rf ~/.config/nvim/.git
rm -rf ~/.config/nvim/.git
  • Start Neovim!
bash
nvim
nvim
